April Updates
Hey, y’all! I hope everyone is having a fabulous spring so far! I wanted to jump on here and throw a few updates your way so you always know what’s going on with me, my books, and my brand. Transparency is important, after all.
Firstly, I’m sure you’ve noticed that my updates aren’t as consistent as I’d like them to be. That’s something I’m always working on as I try new things to figure out a schedule that fits my needs and your wants. Between my day job, my books, and the million side projects I have going on, I’m not usually left with much energy for blog posts. But, like I said, I’m working on that. Fingers crossed that I can find a rhythm in 2023 that I can maintain!
Speaking of my day job, I’ve recently been promoted (yay!). Unfortunately, that means less time to indulge in personal projects, hence why some things have fallen behind (see: newsletter, social media, this blog). Things are starting to settle down a bit now, so I’m hoping that will further enable me to get on a somewhat consistent content schedule for you guys.
Now, what to expect from VJS Books this year?
I have a few things in the works, but that’s nothing new. Expect to see the Kill Bite sequel (very soon), the last book in the trilogy (probably), and the announcement of my next project in terms of main series entries. By ‘main series’, I mean full, published novels.
Also expect to see some website additions, one of which I’ve been working on for quite some time. I think you’ll like it!
I’m working on a stronger brand presence as well, so you’ll see some minor changes here and there to sort of refine my overall impression. Simple, behind-the-scenes stuff that makes a huge difference.
All in all, I think you’ll like what I have in store for you this year! Rest assured that, even if you haven’t heard from me in a while, I’m always working on something. If absolutely nothing else, that is a guarantee!
